And it was great that the one side story here, Jerry's holiday party, was able to incorporate everyone successfully. But as it turns out, Jerry's completely surrounded by hotties, having two other daughters with old-maid names, Miriam and Gladys. And the laugh over Brinkley being his wife could have been fleeting. Yes, the joke about Jerry having anything to do with beautiful women was done before when we met Millicent. To illustrate, Megan Mullally returned as Tammy 2, bringing back her sex-crazed character and all the depravity that the local library nourishes, while at the same time we got a more in-depth peek inside Jerry's family - and the revelation that his wife is the astoundingly gorgeous Christie Brinkley. ![]() ![]() ![]() It's incredible that Parks is able to play off its own built-in jokes while still expanding the board game-style universe of the show. But here, unlike her previous appearances, it simply wasn't needed. I don't know if I'll be able to say enough good things about "Ron and Diane." My only lament is that Lucy Lawless' Diane isn't ever given any truly funny stuff to do. ![]()
